Oh, thank you, dear Maxi. There is nothing like the experience of laying down this watery loveliness and letting it do its thing. Watercolor painting is an exercise in letting go and letting the medium have its way.
“Bursts of colour” is a term I have heard people use occasionally. These paintings are, for me, a demonstration of that term. Very uplifting paintings.
