Dear Carl,
2021 is almost done with us, and I can see that you have been as busy as ever with creating and publishing your excellent cartoons.
Thank you for commenting on my latest post. I am delighted by your visit, for your presence has been greatly missed. Whenever you visit my blog, you are very welcome to submit as many comments as you like in any of my posts and pages.
It is good to spread the message of Hope, Peace, Joy and Love. I have just added even more graphics and animations to my said festive post entitled “🎊 Season’s Greetings: Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year 🎄🎅☃️” even as we communicate right here and now. For your convenience, the direct link to the post is:
I would also like to inform you that when you pay my blog a visit, it is preferrable to use a desktop or laptop computer with a large screen to view the rich multimedia contents available for heightening your multisensory enjoyment at my blog, which could be too powerful and feature-rich for iPad, iPhone, tablet or other portable devices to handle properly or adequately.
Furthermore, since my intricate blog contains advanced styling and multimedia components plus animations, it is advisable to avoid viewing the contents of my blog using the WordPress Reader, which cannot show many of the advanced features and animations in my posts and pages. May you enjoy browsing my blog at this festive season!
In addition, please turn on your finest speakers or headphones, as the post will be playing music to you automatically for about two minutes.
I hope that you will thoroughly enjoy the animations featured at my said post, and would be delighted if you could be so kind as to submit another comment there as a critique of what I have done with the post. Thank you in anticipation.
Wishing you and your family a Happy New Year ☃️🎅!
May you find the rest of 2021 and the forthcoming 2022 very much to your liking and highly conducive to your writing, reading, thinking and blogging whatever topics that take your intellectual fancy!

Hello Carl, I have a story I want to share with you, if you like history, and FDR, you’ll love this, you can post it if you wish, after FDR died the family had auctions and sales over the next forty years, early on in 1951 Top Cottage was sold, and the contents as well, three years ago I found a cupboard, built at Val kill, but really unique, White House embellished, with the only known marble top, and a tiny silver salt spoon was wedged in a drawer, sundial with an R, in the monogram,I found the Top Cottage inventory list, cousin Daisy didn’t describe the cupboard, but the shelves drawers, bottom of cupboard are a match physically, but on a shelf Daisy lists set of salt and pepper pots with a sundial design, the top shelves are low, curators and collectors noticed it right away, but FDR had Top Cottage designed for his wheelchair, he could reach my top shelf, it’s been interesting and frustrating, you name the person I have read up on them, FDR library has been helpful, forget the NPS….

Don’t sell yourself short. Each of us have things to bring. The people with whom I have really connected, well we have become a delightful part of each other’s day. Personally I can’t stand the “look at my cat every day” blogs, the “worship my drippy nose kid” one and the “what they said at the beauty parlor ones” but almost all the rest have something enjoyable to read most days . Dig snow? Well I don’t think the president, congress and the senate can even do that.

Update on the Poetry Group: I am going to have to put this off till next week. I began my new work schedule and I am tired. We have the list and if either of the two that submitted ideas as to how to set up this group would like instead to “take over” I am all for that. Just email me or comment here and I actually hope someone takes me up on this offer. I wanted to be a “participant” not the leader on this. But I will help construct the format of the group and provide the “platform” obviously for the setup and if no one volunteers I will group people next week and simply set a date to have your poem posted, maybe a label and tag we will all use, and a date to try and have reviews done (a week shouldn’t be hard). I will wait and see what kind of responses I get here.
I am going to tag this post with PCG1 for now.

Occupation and household come first. Perhaps leadership can be as simple as receiving submissions, storing them and deciding how many to post each month on specific days to post and let comments be the reviews of which yours would post first.

Hi Carl …. after you left a comment on my blog I came back to read more … and was happy I did … for poetry is the language of the soul. God is forever guiding me to write in prose …. for many a truth when shared in beauty … becomes a beacon of light for another’s life … true inspiration. You must search and find the poem “Oh Doctor you’re in trouble” on one of my blogs which taught me how to overcome diabetes with my mind … i.e. I freed myself of the need for a doctor and thus cured myself. It is creation at its very finest … a creation of my free and less limiting life. Right from a young age I always felt bigger than myself …. felt myself moving into bigger and bigger shoes and now like Puss in Boots I stride across continents with ease. At last count WordPress told me that I had visitors from 96 countries. Not bad for a stay at home mom who did not even go to college. I enrolled myself in the University of God and now even difficult science and maths (what I need to understand like quantum physics , mavigating time, is possible for me). I keep myself so busy I do not have time to be depressed and this work is like an adrenaline boost. I love to connect with intelligent people for a fruitful dialogue is an inherent possibility.

Delighted to have you as part of the network on this blog. Many people of faith visit here. Some post religious poetry or Bible and Christian issue studies and theological debate. I will send you a list of a few of these blogs soon as you say you wish to participate in such dialogue. Good luck on your spiritual and educational journey as it is time well invested and you will grow and blossom in comfort and understanding of our Lord.

Carl,
Sorry about the problem you had trying to comment on Bridges Made from Junk. Perhaps it was on the link to the other site where the story is published? I tried to to comment there too and had the same problem. Don’t know why.

Finally I can leave a note!
(your image blavatar never gave a site to post to!)
I first saw your cartoon image and thought it was very sweet – I then saw the original picture.
You are a lovely man,
Your true self should be your avatar.
You are handsome. (very)
Uh ya – just sayin’

I am so glad that I know you. Congratulations on all of your education in the past as well as your success as a well known cartoonist. You make us all light up. I am grateful for you. I have to admit, I am a person who is too serious so laughter is my medication. Thanks for always supporting my blog with your wonderful comments and inspirational sayings. Have a great day, my friend.

Carl,
I decided to take a stroll through The Idiot’s blogroll and came across your page. What an appropriate title for your blog as I immediately chuckled at the first picture I saw! I’m glad I stopped by.

Thanks for the helpful information on my blog about making puzzles. I wanted to reply to your comment, but evidently wordpress doesn’t allow you to reply to replies.
Just wanted to say thanks.

Glad to provide suggestions. Almost all blogs to which I subscribe have reply to reply as does mine. My skills are too primitive to advise but I think if you just query wordpress they will give directions for you to include the feature. Regards.

You can reply to replies with wordpress as this blog and others allow. Perhaps it is an option in your set up menu. I am not computer literate enough to rec systems matters but perhaps a quick query to wp would help you.

Hello Mr. Carl!
This is Jack, the fabled nephew of Practicing Buddhism. Anyway, I heard that you couldn’t comment on my blog, http://scribe-of-ages.blogspot.com.
Needless to say, I figured I’d just tell you what to do in case you wanted to post.
(Just in case you were wondering, I *am* a secret agent for the CIA, and I didn’t get the link to your blog from my aunt. Nope… secret agent…)
So you have to hit *Select Profile* and go to either Google Account if you have one, or OpenID if you dont. If its google account you have to sign in, and then use the google account button. If its Open ID you can just type your name and post your comment. Once you’ve posted your comment you have to wait a second because the paranoid people of blogspot.com have to have a handicap check. Fill in the handicap check and voila, you’re comment will post.
Hope this helped!! Thanks for visiting my blog!!!
By the way, your blog is pretty awesome… the name is epic! 🙂
Jack
