Aamen 🙂 First thing in the morning so I think it’s going to be a good sign, as just before I opened the computer, I spoke in my shrine of certain things going on in my life right now and asking for guidance. Being the last day of the month, it’s an ending and tomorrow is the 1st of a new month. It’s said that we get the messages through other people, and I take this as a message that I was being heard, being a post in a church. I see as people sitting in a church on one side. That also must mean something to me. I will find out in time. This picture says a lot to me somehow. Thank you very much and God Bless 🙂
I am so very humbled yet delighted that you found so much depth of meaning in my simple art work. Yes the people are there but hopefully they will now be drawn to the pews in the very front where they belong. We get close to Creator by being close. I start my day thankful for 15+ years clean and sober and that all people may walk in the Light.
Actually they are supposed to be people in the distance not penguins but if you as a viewer see them as penguins then I think I am going to redo the cartoon trying to make them look like people. Penguins was not my intent so I now see your ? This will take several hours.
Mark 9:2-4
Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John, and led them up on a high mountain apart by themselves; and He was transfigured before them. His clothes became shining, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them. And Elijah appeared to them with Moses, and they were talking with Jesus.
The “Amen Corner” is used to reference a speaker’s supporters at any other audience including church. These people would be supporters and followers of a politician who will cheer at every the speaker says. Hence “Amen Corner” reference to church congregations saying “Amen” to preacher’s remarks esp in fundamental Protestant churches with African American membership and we say that a few times at Presbyterian church too. . . So Hillary and Trump both have “Amen Corners” when they speak to audiences that love each person. So the cartoon joke “Amen Corner” is portrayed in a literal sense here.

He’s teaching the penguins about snow:
