I eat my peas with honey
I’ve done it all my life
It makes them taste quite funny
But it keeps them on the knife

Hive no idea what they’re reading. Perhaps it’s the police blotter detailing a sting that went down?

The bees were the police. It was the wasps that went down,

I guess it’s all about the best places to go collect honey. Maybe they have google maps too do you think 😛 Winter is here so not much bees to be seen around. Saying hello from down under Brisbane 🙂

Brisbane ! When I started this blog July 2010 I posted a clock cartoon. Three weeks later the editor of a clock and watch magazine in Brisbane contacted me and he wanted to publish that cartoon. He published several more. It was such a thrill to be asked to be published at the very beginning of blogging. I follow another cartoonist in Tasmania.

I think “Busy Bee” should be spelt “Buzzy Bee”.

Awesome post to make me smile, friend Carlos … your illustration made me remember … while in Bali and sitting there minding ma own business … there were ants everywhere including on me … so finally one day I had enough and squished one to death … seconds later a whole army of ants came to examine the body and then proceeded to carry the dead body away to somewhere … next day same scenario … dey here, me kill, dey carry away … next day same … so I have to confess that I killed 12 Balinese ants in 12 days in order to see part of their funeral arrangements … ok, change of subject: Here is hoping you have an awesome summer so far? Love, cat.

Bugs are bugs but both bees and ants have a very advanced social organization.
