I do the Miami Herald one most days but the NY Times – I just don’t know how people do it. I earned 4 college degrees and am lucky to get a dozen words.
I finally updated the Camp Polk post, but it will not be re-posted until the proper time. I wish you and/or your father check the post out for your approval. [Feel free to delete this notice after you use the link.]
Sir I would never delete anything you offer from this blog. I must have you do a Wednesday guest post soon showcasing some of the personal histories of our service men and women.
Carl, I would really have to think about the whole guest post thing, as I had to stop doing them on Greatest Generation Lessons for Judy due to lack of time. I appreciate your offer – and NOT saying I won’t do it, it just wouldn’t be right away. Frankly, if I did do it, I’d rather it be on the humor of WWII and/or Korea?
Yes, the humor. I remember the Kilroy ones. Your presentations must take a lot of study to produce and are so professionally done. Keep it in mind, the year is young.
Hmmmm it seems Carl Uncle Bert really is square but than as we know, you can’t put a round peg in a square hole it won’t fit but a square one will and depending how deep it is, will determine if they ever see the Light.

I always thought the right word was always at the tip of my tongue, but in reality the puzzle was running away from me..It all makes sense now!

I’ve not been successful at searching for treasure. Let me amend that. I’m real good at the searching. It’s the “discovery” that’s the problem.

I have big books of crossword puzzles, do them on planes. This one struck a chuckle.

I’m rotten at crossword puzzles. Can’t sit still long enough to concentrate. This is delightful but I haven’t a clue. 😦

“lost for words” fits the clue for 17 across “not knowing what to say”.
