And to think I almost married an asparagus from southern France! Fortunately I realized in time she did not mix well with Italian tomato sauce which is my heritage.
Yes I am as I do all the cooking for my 87 year old parents that live with me. 45 minute bachelor style production for great stuff. Coupla pots and the micro-wave and presto. Mother has suggested slight modification , however, as I put cheese on everything. Even corn flakes, ice cream, and on my handkerchief before I sneeze!
You’ve a fine taste in women Dave. Glad to see you’re not smitten by the average tomato. I too like the tall svelte look but I think you would agree that string bean women take it a bit too far.
You are so right. That’s because asparagus are French and sooo provincial. I will send a good Italian zucchini woman over to straighten them right out!
You must visit more frequently Christine. Oh yes. When I first got out of college I sold women’s shoes, handbags, hosiery and such. What is great about Miami is that besides the business look, for casual and dress , white and the pastels are “in” year round. You are a 7 1/2 right?

Asparagus are such snobs. I’m with the broccolli. Well, actually I’m without the broccolli. Which is just as well, really.

Thanks for visiting. Once your thinking focuses, vegetables and fruits can be harvested for lots of joke ideas. Grapefruitful for that.

Hairspray used to send me out the door gasping. It often did make a good stain remover however.

Margaret is right, it is eighties. I’m thinking Flashdance. Or maybe Fame.

Have to laugh, been telling my friend she needs to get rid of the “big hair look” … way outdated.
Still, nothing wrong with a little meat on the bones.

In my own case I have perfected the “white hair” look, although not by choice.

Mine’s the asparagras with the necklace; young and firm with a hint of mature wildness.

Broccoli’s hairdo looks a bit like mine from the 80s. 😉

A simple switch to Breck or Prell would have solved everything. By the way Ms Broccoli’s sister dyed her hair “strawberry” and uses “cucumber” rinse.

Those darn asparagus are so judgmental! I hate to think what they’d have to say about corn!
