Precious photo and sentiments expressed in it, grandpa loves his adorable granddaughter and she loves him like he’s Santa.
Sending you good wishes and wonderful plans for when we meet our Debbie in heaven, Doll, she always said we would dance on Palestinain blossoms, but you know, any blossoms will do, it’s just that I think she meant Palestine is the holy land, so we’ll be dancing in the true holy land, the one not built by hand.
Our Debbie. Our Doll. I wish I had a chance to speak with her. The choice of words, the lyrical movement, the vivid imagery. She completely captured me. Without question the most talented poet I ever read.
Lovely photo, Carl, your granddaughter is beautiful–what a smile! Mayah definitely outshines the horse, which is really saying something as the steed is most elegant in its own right. And I must say, you’re looking quite fine in red–it suits you :-).
Although the Although the carrousel horse is quite unique and beautiful, I am certain that Mayah brings you more joy, and happiness. National Red Nose Day is May 24.

Nice find on the carousel horse! Looks like you’ve been to Walgreens – they have the red noses for a promotion. Sweet family pic!

Mine too, she had a way with words, both in her poetry and in private emails, as well as on the phone, our Debbie always spoke from her soul.

I get the impression your granddaughter is eyeing your big red nose and thinking she’d like one too. 🙂

You are right. I did not get to wear it the rest of the day and naturally she took it home with her.

I earned every on of these white hairs and they are a badge. Of course that is among peers. The young think otherwise.
