*grin* This reminds me of my Mom. She’s never been more than 1 1/2 inches taller than I am. As she grew older, she started shrinking. First we had the same height, in the meantime she’s nearly an inch shorter – and of course denies it. 😀
I think it is a conspiracy by the capitalist clothing manufacturers. Now I must buy smaller sized clothing. Oldsters may be getting shorter but as they age with grace, in our eyes they grow in stature. It is certainly the case with my father.

I think it has to do with global warming. The floor gets lower making us look shorter.
