The remote one is especially true in our house. I ALWAYS put my keys on the key hook rack near the back door because if I put them anywhere else I can never remember where I put them. Funny one Carl
Have you noticed how, whoever the culprit is, they keep moving the thing you are looking for… Most times, I find what I have been looking for in the place I could swear I searched before and didn’t find it…
You have my sympathy, Carl. I am always losing my phone. My husband has to call my phone from his so I can find it. When a phone would fit in a pocket, life was easier. Blessings…
Thanks for my best belly-laugh of the day! Having just spent two unsuccessful days searching for an item I specifically remember putting away “in a safe place until I need it”, your post really tickled my funny bone. “He needs his glasses to find his glasses”… priceless!
I understand that. Do you also have a sock monster in the washing machine that devours the socks? He never eats the same pair, just one of each so you have a dozen singles all different colors. It really is a conspiracy. You cover yourself by just having all black and brown socks.
OK where is the mouse, I have looked everywhere for it , in the draw , under the desk , in the U.S.B box, in the Printer draw, Oh No the Cat just ate it!!! No Catnip for him tonight!
This explains everything. Wait! Are you part of the conspiracy in helping me feel better about this, so I’ll stop looking for my glasses and the speaker for my laptop?

But if they hide under the bed they are protected by the monster. There’s one in the closet too.

I always do that. Put an item in a place where I know where it is. Then either it isn’t there or I’ve forgotten the special place. Can’t win.

I wonder how many prayers God has collected for each one of these? I’d like to see a spreadsheet when She and I have words some day, just for fun.
