I only used a sewing machine once, and I went too fast and ended up going off the fabric, then the only thing I could think to do was sew back onto the fabric, which created a big, weird loop of thread. Hey, my pillow has a handle now.
I never touched a sewing machine again, and I now just do sewing the old-fashioned way, though that method has problems of its own. Like when you drop the needle and can’t find it….

If you need to repair fallen hem or tear get fabric glue “Tear Mender” fabric glue , a real life saver for sewing impaired.

I can so picture this happening. I have seen people sewn their fingers to material or just thread in it. Not nice at all and I am sure painful.
