Love the Red Baron (Snoopy and) song of the sixties. Did not realize he had a weird Don Quixote thing going on tho

If that’s what Don Quixote saw, I don’t blame him for attacking the windmills. I’d be wary of flying windmills, too.

Thank you for your comment on my blog. I’m delighted to discover yours – what fun! I’m picking up your RSS feed now. And dang, who knew those windmills were so aerodynamic?
Off to cruise the rest of your blog now… 🙂

Green-certified attack planes? What’s next–wind-powered armaments? That’s one way to cut the number of casualties.

The best way to eliminate casualties is to take the wind out of old men that send young men to war.

Some of my best friends are Dutch. Their ancestors must have survived this Red Baron attack. Whew.
I love hearing it’s one of your top 10 favorites. You should do a special post sometime, like an anniversary post or something where you share your top 10 favorites, Carl. It would be fun to see that, and I love lists. 🙂

You got to watch out for the Dutch. They’re known for torturing prisoners by sticking them on to windmills. 😉
