Growing up, we had a pet parakeet. I would have paid good money for this invention! Our bird liked to sit on top of our heads!

Ok, but no birds for me.
Red August 13th, 2012 at 18:15
Great prevention of the poop deck as well. Red.
Carl D'Agostino August 13th, 2012 at 20:03
The inventor was no bird brain for sure.
Sylver Blaque August 10th, 2012 at 00:20
I’m laughing so hard I can’t even think what to say! Hilarious!! 😆

80% or 90% – it’s just a matter of a pinion…
Carl D'Agostino August 9th, 2012 at 09:30
Imagine an elephant on his shoulder !
Patricia August 8th, 2012 at 23:04
You have a very inventive mind. A little weird but interesting. 😉
Carl D'Agostino August 9th, 2012 at 08:58
I pretty much surprise myself at what pops out of my head.
Tony McGurk August 8th, 2012 at 19:43
Considering the amout of pet bird owners in the world I think you’d make a fortune if you put this into production Carl.
Carl D'Agostino August 8th, 2012 at 22:56
I am working on one for goldfish.
Elliot August 8th, 2012 at 15:12
I’m hoping he doesn’t confuse the peg leg, and the tank when he gets out of bed in the morning.
Carl D'Agostino August 8th, 2012 at 19:17
Do you still say “sticky wicket” ?
umicomics August 8th, 2012 at 14:13

Carl D'Agostino August 8th, 2012 at 19:16
How’s cat poop compared to parrot poop?
duckofindeed August 8th, 2012 at 12:51
Never thought about it, but it would indeed get pretty messy having a bird on your shoulder. I needed that for my rat. Disgusting, disgusting rat.
Carl D'Agostino August 8th, 2012 at 14:00
I am sure the Duck is much more sophisticated to need such devices. Parrots and pigeons are an uncivilized lot I hear.
monicastangledweb August 8th, 2012 at 08:41
Fascinating contraption. How do you think of these? 😉
Carl D'Agostino August 8th, 2012 at 08:50
The cartoon or the contraption ?
monicastangledweb August 8th, 2012 at 09:44
The poop contraption, of course!
Maxi August 8th, 2012 at 07:17
This is hysterical, have saved it to show my granddaughter.
David and I used to see people at the flea market with birds on their shoulders … waiting.
Blessings to you ‘n mom and dad – Maxi
Yeah, those white ones like Baretta I think it was.
jannatwrites August 8th, 2012 at 04:04

I wonder how many birds in a bush, a bird on the shoulder is worth?
Carl D'Agostino August 8th, 2012 at 08:47
They can stay in the blessed bush or on my plate as far as I am concerned.
pattisj August 7th, 2012 at 23:51
Oh, yeah, I can see where that might be a problem!
Carl D'Agostino August 8th, 2012 at 08:46
Walking the dog is one thing but sticky wet shoulder-nawww.

That’ll learn that pesky parrot. Thanks for the chuckle, Carl.
Carl D'Agostino August 8th, 2012 at 08:45
It is best when someone else has a parrot for you to enjoy now and then.
Craig N. August 7th, 2012 at 20:59
Looks like he also reduced his shoemaking bill by 50%
Carl D'Agostino August 7th, 2012 at 21:38
Astute bottom line observation.
