You’re a scream, Carl 🙂 You just have no end to them! And so the people (I forget which nationality), they scurried through his parted hair like nits looking for a new land? 🙂

For this reason we have no actual copies of the 4 Gospels and it is doubtful that what we have is like the originals due to errors and intentional editing.
Moses parted the “sea” not his hair. Actually this is more than just a joke. We can see how twisted or inaccurate Bible translations can be, dependent of the whim of the translator.
…dependent also on the knowledge and resources of the translators. I think there is much more ignorance than scheming in the world. I came to this conclusion watching USA presidents prepare for war.
You may rest assured that a great deal of scheming comes from the White House and the US intelligence community. The US has 780 military bases of various sizes out of US around the world. This is not a territorial empire but a military one. We are poised to strike anywhere in the world. I would agree that American leaders and especially the population know very little world history nor do they care. This is disadvantageous. We do not understand or know how to deal with Iran for example because we have no appreciation of their consciousnesses of being the inheritors of the great and advanced Persian Empire. We are dismissive of other cultures and their history. It is like the world started in 1776 and everything else is irrelevant.
And moses swam across the sea, to see what he could see
then he found a comb and (parted his hair)- Happy Weekend, and stop by I added you to my blogging buddies.
…parted his hair, and the lice passed over to the other side and danced for joy! I think this would be called an unauthorized biography. Blessings to you, my comedian friend…
New Testament is full of this stuff done purposefully for theological and political agendas of the editors. Esp redaction to create events to show Old Testament prophecy was fulfilled. Woman led churches, were elders, and performed the sacraments, for example. See any of that in New Testament? Some scribes added the margin notes of scribes that wrote the copies from which they were copying as part of original text scripture, another example.
importance is based on perspective. my daughter thinks parting her hair is worth recording in word too. she and this guy would probably read the same books.
Count on Maxi to be an up- and- at- em Florida gal. Good morning, Maxi. The Old Testament is pretty accurate to the 6,000 year old original as are the letters of Paul in the New Testament. But the 4 Gospels are full of stuff like this and have been altered, edited and adjusted according to the political and theological agenda of the translators and church leadership in the first three centuries.
I’m know very concerned, how did Moses parting his hair lead to the Exodus? Did the embedded seismic gravitational within his hair, under the big head-cover, activate the wave machine and voila?

The real irony is how much of the Bible we have now is a result of such things as this silly example.

Me not understand. Not at all. But the drawing is good, very complete, with the scrolls in the foreground and all those books.

That’s so much less dramatic. Like in “Bruce Almighty” or whatever, where the guy parts his bowl of tomato soup.
