Oh-oh… why does that make me a little bit sad?

I should learn how to airbrush cartoons. That way, I can get the full 3-D effect of airbrushing making my little vignettes ultra-realistic. Of course, I’d need to come up with ideas to draw; that’s the hard part. Dilbert seems to manage okay on a daily basis: I don’t know how Scott Adams does it.

I don’t know how to airbrush either. I draw with fine black rollerball, then scan the sketch in gimp to clean up and correct lines, then paintbrush color with gimp which is quite a long and tedious process. I can bucket fill a section of same color but still have to go back to paintbrush details or irregularities. So this is 2-D flat. I can create a slight 3-D effect by the way I draw it with depth. I harvest my cartoon ideas from history, literature, daily life and Bible. I do no social/political though. This is a humor blog.

At least now I am in a house again with washer/dryer and don’t have to go to the crowded laundromat anymore.

I find this funny because only a guy would think he needed to stand by the machine while it’s washing. ❤ ❤ ❤
