Ok, so this is Tuesday and we changed time 2 days ago….guess who forgot to change their clock on their night stand…..yes on Sunday AM that was intentional to give me that extra hour then. No excuse for yesterday morning as I got up an hour early forgetting I hadn’t changed it. Noticed it as I went into the kitchen and saw the time (bless my wife, she was wondering why I was up so early, but went back to sleep). Wouldn’t one think I would have changed it by this AM….oh no….but did I think I had….oh yes….took me 15 minutes to figure it out as I was having my morning coffee and saw the kitchen clock…..I now have changed it!! LOL
I understand the craziness. I used to have to argue with my parents twice a year for eternity over this. They firmly believed that I had to change all the clocks precisely at midnight as Saturday crossed into Sunday morning. That if I could not stay awake until midnight I should set the alarm clock (actually 2 of them in case one didn’t work) at 11:30 PM to do it.
LOL….we were in Arizona for a years and I loved not having to deal with it at all!! But I have lived my 65 years minus a few over there with daylight….so at the end of the day, no excuse Kirt ! LOL
I think it’s an antiquated practice. Best to do away with it. The day after time change we see a spike in the number of collisions. Wonder why insurance companies haven’t lobbied for a change?

One would think it’s a very subtle matter but it disorients half the world.

Yeah…we don’t have that problem out here in the desert…it’s just remember whether it’s two or three hour difference to the east coast from here!

I only like to send the clock back when we have to spring forward. I love the extra hour of sleep😊

Is it time already for this delightful and utterly meaningless activity once again? Time flies. Backward or forward.
