How did we get from Marco Polo making a trip to China when the kids today only know Marco being echoed in the pool by someone yelling Polo.

I just finish a TV series about Marco Polo, and I am currently reading Ross E Dunn’s ‘The Adventures of of Ibn Battuta’ based on his 30 years, wandering voyages he did beginning in 1325 just a year after Marco Polo’s death. 🙂
