I’d take a good fresh fish any day to turkey. Exactly what is the wife holding behind her back? Great cartoon. All my best to you Carl, and have an excellent Thanksgiving.
She ought to have a little historical appreciation. At the first Thanksgiving the Pilgrim menu included cod, lobster and an oyster based turkey stuffing.

I wouldn’t mind a good poached, grilled or backed salmon. In Italian households a turkey was prepared but the main course was always the lasagna.
