    Spirits Freed

And for those who fear the passing
or for those who’ll pray it’s time
how can we not have pity then
for those gone, or left behind?
For ’tis we without the answers
of what your thoughts may be
    who’ll suffer with your passing
til we can set your spirits free!

    ~Jack Downing~

    Thanks for the inspiration Carl..

Thanks for your comment on my blog, Carl, and for following me. Emily Dickinson is my favorite poet — “A Wisp of Me” is a nice complement to “I Could Not Stop for Death.” I look forward to reading more.

No more maybes or what ifs. Doctor said this and doctor said that. Yeah, yeah, bla bla bla – time to finish that novel with cup of tea. Maybe smoke one of my 5 cigarettes allowed for the day. Art supply shop opens at 8 AM. See you there…

If emotions flowed the words have been successful. I experiment with different things. Acceptance. I thought I would never have it.

I love how one poem becomes an inspiration for other thoughts put into a poem. Well done Carl.
