I’ve lived with it my whole life. D’Agostino. Hassle on every piece of transaction whether in private or public sector with or without apostrophe and you can’t get into a system unless congruent with one or the other designation they are using.
Caps lock is a pretty sneaky one, if you ask me. I always press him by accident, and then it looks like I’m yelling at people. He’s a troublemaker, he is.

I can picture a sulking apostrophe saying – I want to press charges against Indians for using me against all accepted laws of the language

I understand. I don’t look at screen when I type as still two finger typer (but fast at it) and then I look up and see the caps – grrr.
