A LOVELY post, Carl. And while we ALL may object to current wars – or any war – we must ALWAYS lend emotional support the brave men and women who are sent to fight them and the families who await their return, barely daring to exhale until the return safely home. It is heartless to do otherwise.
And for CAT – I am so sorry to read about the loss of Jennifer Rose – but I hope you don’t mean that you and your other daughter have lost each other simply because she is a member of the GLBT community. That would be the biggest avoidable tragedy I could imagine.
Much love to you, to Carl, and to all, and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year as well.
And to our troops: THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE.
xx,
mgh

I will never understand the “Salute our troops” thing, friend Carlos … my son was in Army cadets once, but then he aged out (being 18) and was made to decide to seriously join the army … and that’s when I told him : “If you join the army, I will personally cut off your trigger happy finger, so they will not take you .” … I do not know why this stupendous war “game has to on and on for thousands of years now, friend Carlos … actually … I do know cuz it’s all about money … (my dad would turn over in his grave if would read this comment of mine, and he would say: Girl, have you not learned anything I taught you??? I told you a million times not to discuss anything regarding Politics, Religion and Sex ) … Well, sorry for the lil slip up here, dad, and rest in peace … anyway … wishing You a wonderful xmas and a very happy New Year with your colourful family, friend Carlos, hmmm? Love always, cat.
I wrote that reply cuz I already lost my baby daughter Jennifer Rose to a heart defect, and my other daughter to the LGBT community, so if I lost my son Paul to a senseless command of some military decision … I think I would go mad, friend Carlos … ya … anyway … (deep breath) … Love, cat. PS: Spending XMas in Mexico … smiles …
Yes! Thank you for this post and bless all those serving that they come home safe. Happy Holidays to you and your family, Carl. And to all our friends in this great cyber community. Love, Paulette
And may God bless them and keep them all safe and sound as they serve to keep us all safe and sound! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you! Thank you!

A beautiful wish, but that may never happen. The world is too screwed up to be left to itself. Have a merry Christmas

Sad reality is that we have too many war zones right here in US where gunshots and the steps of thugs rule the night in many cities.

Fantastic pics, Cuba too. And you look so happy. I never got to travel much. I did go to the shopping mall once , however. Two years ago.

If he’s not too deeply involved promoting Trump Corp and establishing his family in our government, oh and twittering nonsense.

Gotta agree that it is twittering nonsense. Like policy de jour or a love struck teenager on facebook effervescing with silliness.
