I pinned this to my Autumn Enchantment board (links to this page, as you probably already know).

I often pin things like this – and sometimes am pressed for time and neglect to let people know. Pinning is a quick way to support the people who support my blog, since each pin clicks to the originating site.
Not everybody clicks through, but even a few are helpful, and the Pinterest community is *huge* (tho’ I don’t know how many are readers – it’s a visual format). BUT – and this is huge to me – it is not an e-spam generator like LinkIn or a push format like FaceBook. It’s the only “social” I mess with anymore.
I started looking at Pinterest when my stats told me that some people were coming to ADDandSoMuchMore from images as “search” terms. Then I discovered that several of my graphics had been pinned – then repinned by others.
So I started playing around with Pinterest myself. Only some of my many boards are ADD/EFD-focused, and only one, ADDCoach Wisdom, is dedicated to pinning my own images to direct people to new posts – a few are scattered on some of my related boards, like PTSD or Mental Health – or one of my many Christmas junkie or Shih Tzu boards (lol).
It also has other uses, much easier and more effective than bookmarking, for example. PLUS, I attracted more followers over there in 6 months than my blog generated in three YEARS. It takes a lot less time out of my life too – just click, pin & briefly caption if the image isn’t “Pinterest-friendly” (images set up to display a caption).
