Dedication. I’m sure you retained a lot. Good job. Someone mentioned a punishment. I can relate as a Catholic student. That would have been a punishment that wouldn’t be appreciated as a child.

One thing I learned is that there are 3 different stories of Jesus feeding the crowd with the fish and loaves, different number of fish and loaves and different crowd.

More like the “Dead Sea Scrawl”.. If I didn’t know better, I’d say you misbehaved in Sister Mary Rapurknuckle’s class and that was just your punishment. You’re lucky she didn’t make you write it in Aramaic. lol

Wow, that must have taken a really long time. Nice job.

Yes. I did the first half 8 years ago over several months, saved the notebook and completed the second half this past month of March. Intend to make this writing a part of each day now. I have a BA and MA in religious studies but this is “real” study, more personal and more intense.

Cool. I’ve been re-reading the Bible lately (I read the entire thing once, a couple years ago). I forget which books I’ve re-read, though, so I think I’ve read some multiple times. I always learn something new each time, though.

Yes, something new all the time. We find verses all the time that may address a current distress we’ve never absorbed in the past. Or are they finding us ?

I’m deeply impressed, Carl.

If I don’t have a pen or a book or a mouse in my hand every waking moment I’d go stark raving mad. That thing in my skull has to be occupied with thinking and drawing and if not I’ll evaporate or implode.

Yes. Hope to finish Mark, Luke, John, Acts by end of year. Is this plagiarism ? No copyright on Gospel, I am sure.
