I love the Sophia Loren insertion! She is definitely a classic! I enjoy reading the critics. If they don’t like I book or movie I am assured it will be one I DO enjoy.

They always have to criticize. Why can’t we have non-critical critics?

I don’t agree with many movie and book reviews in the first place. The movie “John Carter of Mars” was really panned and low rated. I thought it was absolutely glorious. Perhaps it was because I read all 11 books of the series by Edgar Rice Burroughs over 50 years ago and it was absolutely enchanting to see my mind’s images from then portrayed on the big screen. It was a great film.

I’m so glad society has such a rich history of criticism. If the Greeks did it I won’t allow myself to feel guilty.

I tend to be critical of the whole criticism process.

Nothing’s better than hearing your laughter from my cartoon. They did not like Aesop’s Fables either. Felt the talking animals were too far fetched even for fiction wisdom literature and Proverbs was too single minded according to them.
