Sort of. Seemed my college professors felt it was their duty to flunk a third of male students so they went in draft pool and off to Vietnam.
6 young fellows from my high school class did not return.
I was still under 30 in 1968…so “Beatles Forever”…”Will you still need me, will you still feed me, when I’m 64?” (I’m almost 10 years past that but I’m still asking the question.) 🙂
Seems like we are all giving away our ages today but who cares? We had the best decades and saw the world change in so many way. The greatest invention for bachelors of course was the trusty micro- wave .
Actually that includes widows in the microwave thing…my microwave, electric skillet and electric rice cooker are what I use, well occasionally the oven when I crave a pizza 😀 😀 😀
I just had a quick look through your page, such a great source of information. If you have time, you are more than welcome to visit my page trinhmanhdo.com, about astronomical science.
