Smile , the best reaction. When you smile if its good that’s perfect. If you smile when its bad you make everyone think you know something they don’t. Strategic body language.
To which he replies “Betsy please, your language in front of the children. You sound like a sailor. The last time I heard that word it was Capt. John Paul Jones yelling, “there’s no friggin’ in the riggin’, and I still don’t know what that means!”
Thank you, Carl. You’re right. It was picky work and now she needs glasses because of it and nobody still thinks to thank her for her fantastic handiwork. 😀 😀

Just wait until there’s 50 stars. I know how she feels. I once sewed on a couple dozen diamonds onto a cape. It was awful.

Sewing diamonds can’t be awful any way you look at it.

I remember that soap. Parents and grandparents thought it cured everything from a cold to a broken leg.

OMG. I remember what that was like in the 50’s and 60’s in school sitting at desk just dripping onto books and papers.

I don’t know any navy stuff. Need two seasickness pills just to go into the bathtub.

I think she would have preferred making a big maple leaf over all the stars. Happy birthday Canada too.
