Very colourful. Reminds me of my college days when I learned to play bridge. The four of us were so hooked on the game that we would spend days and nights at a stretch at the table, disregarding meal times in the hostel. This is how we may have looked to the others 🙂

I was the same way but never learned bridge.

Carl, I absolutely love the detail in this painting. I opened the full-sized version in a new window and was so pleasantly surprised. I like the sexy skeleton pinup picture, complete with colorful hair-adornments in the top left corner!
Oh, and HAPPY new Year of course!

Ah, fellow artist – you have the eye for details.

These fellows are transparent, better watch their hands!

You’re quick. Can’t fool you. You see right through it.

Not everyone is hiding their hands. 😀 😀

The guy on the left is such a shark they better hide their money. For tough guys the motto is “If ya can’t beatem at the card table, beatem in the parking lot.

Lima beans and horror movies?? Two things I never expected to see in the same sentence. So funny! I like your picture; being ftom California I have a fondness for Mexican art.

I would love to go to these art shows and festivals in SW USA.

Oh! 😱 i can’t stand the sight
January 3rd, 2015 at 15:40
I remember you do not care for this type of art most of which is a Mexican tradition. That’s OK. We all have our preferences likes and dislikes. I think half the art and poetry produced these days is absolute garbage. Not everything I produce in art or cartoons may be well received by everyone and that is also OK as it comes with the territory. Regards Yoshiko, you have supported my blog consistently and that is appreciated.

Thank you, Carl, for your kind understanding. Normally, I avoid horror and gory visuals because I have bad experiences since childhood until now. Those things tend to creep into my dreams and ran after me. Hence, I am choosy on visuals and story genre.

I felt the same way whenever Mother served lima beans -yucky. I too do not view horror movies.
