Is #9 a fruitcake? If so, use as a doorstop or regift. Great step-by-step suggestions for decorating. I would spend too much time on #4 (the brownies) and on #6 (the cookies), and would be unable to finish. 😉
Carl, Loved the simplicity of the idea AND, naturally, the energy breaks!!! You had me waiting for a canoli or stromboli!!! Merry Christmas, Carl! Phil Fontana from excuseusforliving.com
Nothing change here in this site, in all the years I remember, everytime I am landing my private jet for refueling, there is plenty advise and energy thrown at me. Carl always stand at the end of the runway with his blue overhaul, grease gun and some brownies ready to service my jet, I wish he told me how to remove the glue for take off… 🙂
“If you give a mouse a cookie he’s going to ask for a glass of milk…” working towards the fruit cake is a nice end to this story. Yum…yes, I love fruit cake.
Clever ornaments, Carl. I would love to make the nutcracker (with grandson) as you did. I like to cut out figures, shapes and messages from old cards for gift tags on Christmas presents. Cards are just too beautiful to be discarded at the end of the season.

I’m not a practitioner of the festive season Carl but I am impressed with the eating of the brownies & cookies you’ve directed us to do

Love the snacks. But since I eat the whole plateful, I suppose they are not snacks.

Coffee, hot chocolate or tea available. Perhaps you have started a new fashion trend – the sticky shirt.
