The story behind the cartoon: In July of 2010 when I started the blog, this cartoon was my second or third post. I got an email from the editor of a clock and watch collectors magazine asking permission to publish it. He was in Brisbane,Australia ! That is a long way away from Miami, Florida. The one I sent was more primitive than this upgraded version but it was such a delightful way to enter our world of blogging. I was so thrilled. I sent him a few more to use which he also published. Such a wonderful beginning. Thanks Malcolm.

Australia – can’t imagine the connection. Of similar interest, Tony McGurk(prior commenter below) is in Tasmania !

Poor Harrington, he looks a bit “alarmed” at his situation.

Hope so but truth and wisdom seem not to be possessed but at best elusive and “momentary”.
