I just think it was considerate of our Founding Fathers to sign on the dotted line in July–also a great vacation month. Imagine had it been in January or February. It’s hard to do a great firework display in the snow!
A pen in time saves 9 or was that a stitch in time, well whatever, finding a pen meant that you don’t celebrate the 4th of July on the 9th Hmmmm maybe I missed something, like the point of your joke Carl ?
Was he a signer? I go with William Paca, the Italian signer and shop at Office Depot(where I use my teacher discount card even though retired in 2006). .
W.B. Mason is a stationer up here in the Northeast, I thought that maybe he was national, but I guess not..lol
P.S. I’ll keep your secret about the discount card..
If you didn’t catch that pen, who else supplied one? July 4th has a certain ring to it, you know. Must find a pen because July 5th or 6th just doesn’t sound good.

The British were ready to add a little drama too with 10,000 of King George’s crack troops.

Yes, I never heard of them. What’s so stupid about the card is that anyone can go on line if they plan to shop and get the same discount coupons.
