The greater picture is that because of these little devices and computers and keyboards in general is that young people do not make things with their hands any more. No model airplanes, macrame, pottery, sewing, any of the arts and crafts. They could probably identify only 3 or 4 items in Grandpa’s tool shed either.

On that island they’d need a majority of three. College (Electoral or otherwise) is out of the question on that island, after all it’s not Hawaii.. Is it?
I am impressed you are calculating the demographics already. I sense a serious run in the making. I don’t want the VP slot. Perhaps head of the Bureau of Printing and Engraving-yep that’s the job for me.
So you knew our Angel Deborah. If there is an afterlife I certainly want to meet her and have her recite her poetry in a breezy shade of trees in a quiet forest.
