I’ll try to find out about that but am sure it requires talent far beyond mine.
earthriderjudyberman May 9th, 2014 at 21:53
I don’t want to octopi your time, but we need new shoes. 😉
Carl D'Agostino May 10th, 2014 at 06:16
My arms are all yours.
sf May 9th, 2014 at 00:56
They’re totally gonna rack it in with this sale. Yeah!
Carl D'Agostino May 9th, 2014 at 05:21
A gold mine day.
Valentine Logar May 6th, 2014 at 06:34
Immediately smiled, though on a good day I could do that much damage in a great shoe store. 😉
Carl D'Agostino May 6th, 2014 at 09:58
Retired now. I have all the shoes I’ll ever need. They’ll last and many near new. Retirement in Miami means shorts. no shoes, no shirt most of the time. Well, that’s for me anyway.
The Conservative Hill Billy May 7th, 2014 at 16:50
Would they need flippers instead of shoes? 🙂
Carl D'Agostino May 7th, 2014 at 19:01
Hmmm. Better open a new section in the store.
Tony McGurk May 6th, 2014 at 02:42
Kaching!!! That’s a lotta shoes to pay for.
Carl D'Agostino May 6th, 2014 at 06:08
Or is is “cashing” ?
clinock May 6th, 2014 at 00:44
Very finny Carl, your humour has sole and you octopi my thoughts with how to respond with a foot note…
Carl D'Agostino May 6th, 2014 at 06:10
You’ve got me “fit to be tied” and “head over heel” with your comment. You may walk away with the prize: a new football, of course.
Carol Ann Hoel May 5th, 2014 at 20:11
You have made me appreciate not being an octopus! Wow!
Carl D'Agostino May 5th, 2014 at 20:39
But the Lord’s flock gotsa lotta feet . Bread and loaves are one thing. But shoes?
pattisj May 5th, 2014 at 18:06
No doubt they met their quota for the week.
Carl D'Agostino May 5th, 2014 at 18:58
I used to sell shoes part time to pay off college loan 1972-74. Making the week was so important to keep the store going and to keep the job.
namenews May 5th, 2014 at 16:29
Hilarious.
Carl D'Agostino May 5th, 2014 at 19:06
I love to hear that. A successful cartoon makes my day.
Mark Petruska May 5th, 2014 at 12:14
Which brings up a good question: when octopi “high-five” do they call it “high-forty”?
That seems to make sense.
RoSy May 5th, 2014 at 12:13
I don’t even want to know what that shoe bill looks like.
Carl D'Agostino May 5th, 2014 at 19:00
Have fewer kids and with fewer feet. Or be a snake. Just think what the bill is for centipedes !
RoSy May 5th, 2014 at 19:24
LOL – True dat!
Charlotte Digregorio May 5th, 2014 at 12:01

With that commission you could switch from cheap beer to top shelf vodka for a few weeks.
poemsandponderings May 5th, 2014 at 11:03
There’s something “fishy” here.. Why aren’t those salesfish wearing any shoes? Just wondering!
Carl D'Agostino May 5th, 2014 at 19:02
OH, so now you’re Columbo ?
poemsandponderings May 6th, 2014 at 00:21
