While I loved individual Yankee players, I’m an ABY fan (Anybody but the Yankees)! My hubby is a real Yankees fan. I’m for the guys fighting for the cellar – usually the Phillies or the Pirates. I love the Red Sox, too. Enjoy the season, Carl.

Our grandson, who is a die hard Red Sox fan, had to wear a Yankee uniform one year in Little League. Oh, the horror. 😉

The Rays and Pirates in the World Series would be my Utopian fantasy! Still love the Yanks as well though.

Last season for coupla old Yankees this season so don’t expect much as rebuilding next two seasons. Lotsa luck to your teams.

I love those baseball cards. I’m not much of a baseball fan, but I love baseball cards. There’s something special about them.

I wish these were real but it is enjoyable to download the pics and glue to cardboard, cut and display collage in frame and things like that.

I think I am too old for girlfriends. Actually the only Yankees thing I have is the jacket and a pennant from the 1950’s. Glad you were not in the fire and good bye to the place anyway.

I had exclusive right to the Bunny Rabbit. It has been 61 years since his departure. I pray we will be reunited in the Lord’s embrace when the time comes for my departure.

I’m not a huge baseball fan, but when I do follow the sport, my allegiance is with the Red Sox. Which makes us mortal enemies, I suppose.
But it’s okay. Your cartoons still make me laugh.

OK. I will not say anything about the Red Socks or their being the creepy creeps of the Universe and I will not tell anyone because the evidence speaks for itself so I don’t have to say anything bad about the Red Socks because…

Last season for too many old guys so they will be a younger , new and different team next year. I remember when the football Houston Oilers knocked out my Miami Dolphins from the playoffs, 1973 I think it was. Oooh, that Dan Pastorini still haunts me.

I remember that. My dad (Ft. Myers) and I were on the phone the whole game! Those were Love Ya Blue days.

After riding a hotel elevator in Miami and seeing this post, I have to ask, are there more Yankee fans in Miami than in NY?

The Braves beat the Yankees in 1957. I had my first stroke and started drinkin’ then when I was 8 years old.

The Braves were definitely a cause for some of my “health” problems during the ’90s, though I enjoyed the conflicting emotions at the time.

Wow! Yankees is the only baseball team I know. And Reggie Jackson the only star. My uncle once explained Reggie Jackson to me by saying he is to baseball what Sunil Gavaskar is to cricket. That was in 1980.
