While I loved individual Yankee players, I’m an ABY fan (Anybody but the Yankees)! My hubby is a real Yankees fan. I’m for the guys fighting for the cellar – usually the Phillies or the Pirates. I love the Red Sox, too. Enjoy the season, Carl.
April 3rd, 2014 at 06:53
I understand – closet Cubs guy myself.
April 3rd, 2014 at 06:55
Our grandson, who is a die hard Red Sox fan, had to wear a Yankee uniform one year in Little League. Oh, the horror. 😉
April 1st, 2014 at 19:34
The Rays and Pirates in the World Series would be my Utopian fantasy! Still love the Yanks as well though.
April 1st, 2014 at 20:53
Last season for coupla old Yankees this season so don’t expect much as rebuilding next two seasons. Lotsa luck to your teams.
April 1st, 2014 at 01:05
So who are you rooting for this season?
April 1st, 2014 at 06:38
Gotta pull for home team, Miami Marlins too. They won last night.
April 1st, 2014 at 00:56
Are you trying to tell us you’re a Yankee fan?
April 1st, 2014 at 06:37
Jes a leeetle bit.

I love those baseball cards. I’m not much of a baseball fan, but I love baseball cards. There’s something special about them.
I wish these were real but it is enjoyable to download the pics and glue to cardboard, cut and display collage in frame and things like that.

Your girlfriends are cute, nice job.
March 31st, 2014 at 15:49
Alas, I wish it were true.
March 31st, 2014 at 14:40
Do your girlfriends get jealous of each other?
I think I am too old for girlfriends. Actually the only Yankees thing I have is the jacket and a pennant from the 1950’s. Glad you were not in the fire and good bye to the place anyway.

A Yankees Rubber Duckie But No Yankees Bunny Rabbit ????
March 31st, 2014 at 12:54
I had exclusive right to the Bunny Rabbit. It has been 61 years since his departure. I pray we will be reunited in the Lord’s embrace when the time comes for my departure.
March 31st, 2014 at 11:54
I’m not a huge baseball fan, but when I do follow the sport, my allegiance is with the Red Sox. Which makes us mortal enemies, I suppose.
But it’s okay. Your cartoons still make me laugh.
March 31st, 2014 at 12:55
I pray the Lord will rescue you and bring you to His Light.
March 31st, 2014 at 10:49
I was always taught that if you can’t say anything nice then………….
March 31st, 2014 at 12:57
OK. I will not say anything about the Red Socks or their being the creepy creeps of the Universe and I will not tell anyone because the evidence speaks for itself so I don’t have to say anything bad about the Red Socks because…
April 1st, 2014 at 00:13
Exactly, thank you..
March 31st, 2014 at 09:55
Yankees are playing in Houston this week. They’ll likely get off to a good start.
March 31st, 2014 at 13:00
Last season for too many old guys so they will be a younger , new and different team next year. I remember when the football Houston Oilers knocked out my Miami Dolphins from the playoffs, 1973 I think it was. Oooh, that Dan Pastorini still haunts me.
March 31st, 2014 at 14:09
I remember that. My dad (Ft. Myers) and I were on the phone the whole game! Those were Love Ya Blue days.

After riding a hotel elevator in Miami and seeing this post, I have to ask, are there more Yankee fans in Miami than in NY?
March 31st, 2014 at 08:36
2/3 of fans at Miami Marlins game are Mets fans.
March 31st, 2014 at 07:45
🙂 nice Carl
March 31st, 2014 at 08:37

Interesting dear Carl, but who would you say is your favorite team? 🙂
March 31st, 2014 at 08:38
Well, er, hmmm. I’ll have to give this some thought and get back to you. The Yankees bubble bath is quite a delight for sure.
March 31st, 2014 at 06:32
Carl, didn’t you mean to write “Let’s Go Red Sox” ?
March 31st, 2014 at 06:37
Oh, there’s a few Red Socks fans that will visit today and give me the Dickens for sure ! I will make just one concession. I think Ted Williams best player ever.
March 31st, 2014 at 06:47
I’m not giving you the Dickens. Oh, maybe I am. Thanks for the concession, Carl.

All things in moderation.

When you do the thirteenth step, do ya have to convert them to Yankee fans? It makes it harder for us Braves fans:P
March 31st, 2014 at 06:28
The Braves beat the Yankees in 1957. I had my first stroke and started drinkin’ then when I was 8 years old.
March 31st, 2014 at 07:13
The Braves were definitely a cause for some of my “health” problems during the ’90s, though I enjoyed the conflicting emotions at the time.
March 31st, 2014 at 06:14
Wow! Yankees is the only baseball team I know. And Reggie Jackson the only star. My uncle once explained Reggie Jackson to me by saying he is to baseball what Sunil Gavaskar is to cricket. That was in 1980.
March 31st, 2014 at 06:29
Ah, Reggie ! Mr. October. Saw him hit a double and three home runs in 1977 World Series I think it was.
