My son holds onto some religious symbol in his pocket and he will not let it out of his site. I think it is his way of knowing God is with him no matter what. I have seen him lose it and panic and than relieved when he finds it….For me —I do not believe in luck, but I use the word all the time…Go Figure.
Well the charm does not hold magical powers but if it is his little symbol to stay connected to God it is a good thing. I have a leaf from the Garden of Gethsemane in my wallet.
The horseshoe’s the luckiest of all–he gets to hang quietly on a wall, or serve as a decorative paperweight, rather than suffer a daily pounding on the end of a horse’s hoof. Good one, Carl.

Lucky is subjective anyway. He’s lucky he doesn’t have to wear uncomfortable shoes

Your commenters are too speedy, too sharp and too funny. 5 a.m. is WAY too early for me. So that worm will have to go to some other earlier bird. 😉

Think I’ll just hop away now without another word…

I don’t know why a rabbit’s foot is considered lucky.. It didn’t do much for that three legged rabbit now did it?
