Oh this is wonderful Carl — and could have used this title for my current post as well! Iove the combination of your words with this very cool picture! ~ 🙂 RL
Was moonstruck once … way back in 1982 … thought I struck gold a that time … and I did in a way … I decided to stay “moonstruck” with the same man for 30 years now as the grass seems always greener …
“Olivised”? Professor Edwin Corey could not have said it any better.. But as we, the denizens of the Northeast, know all too well, Labor Day brings an end to “olivization” as we know it’..
Moon struck, indeed. The looks so close to the earth and it reminded me of the year it did. That won’t happen again in my lifetime. And the poem is dreamy.

Olivized. Love that. If it appears in my next crossword puzzle, I’ll be amazed!

An absolutely gorgeous photo. The moon in its beauty really should cause us all to sit a bit more humbly! Thank you, Carl.

Well must admit it’s not my photowork. I am so bad with a camera, if I go somewhere I just buy the post cards and send them to myself.

It’s sort of “poetic license”… to kill. Or at the very least, maim, the English language.
