You had me in giggle fits from the first picture! My dad told my brother if he wanted a car, build one. So he did! Built a very fast street legal dune buggy. Funny I don’t think my dad expected that.
I told my sons, if they wanted to drive maintain a 3.0 GPA. First one did and got his license and a car at 16. Second one, not so lucky; didn’t get a license till he moved out at 19.
Thanks for the memories, Dag. I think this is one thing where boys lead the girls. Girls fall in love with cars in their teens when they can learn to drive.
