Sounds like me. And I agree – this is a VERY satisfying universe. The world is here, on my screen – I don’t need the physically world outside (well not much anyways).
That has made me do a lot more reading. Naturally the apt is still a mess, dishes in the sink and out of clean clothes so I must use my time constructively if I am to be a recluse. Buy more books.

I ideas come in waves. When there is no sea can redo and upgrade very old ones. Been creating since 1985.

That’s excellent, Carl – since 1985!! Wow, some people HAVEN’T HAD AN IDEA SINCE 1985!
Your work is just great. Should be on Hallmark cards or something – just ‘out there’ more, it’s so good…

I know. There have been no good ideas out of Washington, D.C. since far before 1985.

This raise the question – being in the cage – is it better to know it or not realise?

What far too many don’t realize is how they create their own psychological cages and unnecessary refuges from imaginary evils. .

Excellent observation, Carl. I have felt like a bird in a cage – self-imposed – when I’m writing at home during my summer break.
