Well, no worries. I’m sure you’ve got pictures of your more recent contributions to society, like the time you marched for Civil Rights or when you tore down the Berlin Wall.
I’m taking my hat and head off to you. I knew you were a man in the know but you’re really a man in the KNOW. Now, if I may, I’m gonna put my head back on so I can see where I’m going.
I also have done things in the future but it would upset the time continuum if revealed so I don’t get credit for that either. I don’t need ego feeding but do all my accomplishments have to remain anonymous ?
I’ll bet they had great fun in your class learning about history. When I first started teaching 8 years ago, I used my planning period – for one week – to sit in a history teacher’s class. She really made the subject come alive for me.
Pre tech days. Book and chalkboard. But drew maps and illustrations on board and lots of colored pencil things. The kids that were low level wanted in my class because of getting F’s from the other teachers I would find things they could do art related to get them a passing grade.

I do take consolation and acceptance in knowing that at least the ideas of Carl(Jefferson) still enlighten the hearts of men.
