Know I’m late with this, but had to tell you, You sure look good in a uniform. We must be kindred spirits, as I love my newspaper. Gotta do the crossword everyday, also. Look forward to reading your posts, even if I’m a little behind.
Ol’ man Jeter is rippin. Of course here in Miami one must show his stripes for the Marlins. They just get so hot then cold all the time. They better call soon. I’ll be 63 next month.
Oh that’s right. You’re a Boston guy. If it is any consolation I think Ted Williams was the best ever. Then 2 years missed WW2 and 2 years missed Korea – no telling how much greater he could have been.
Ah yes. The roar of the crowd as I rounded the bases having sent one out at 430 feet. The adulation of children and endless waves of foxy babes. Free drinks were an added perk. But Hansi, I was never a snob and never charged a penny for an autograph and always found a moment to satisfy a request.

It’s so comforting to see someone who still reads newspapers in their natural paper form!

After 45 years I just let TIME and US NEWS expire but still read my newspaper and try to do the crossword puzzle.

Carl … Not a Yankees’ team fan, but I do love many individual Yankee players, I’m rootin’ for you to be scooped up by the Yanks and paid big bucks.

Primarily Los Angeles, but he loves the history of the Dodgers, so Brooklyn, too, I think 🙂

If only dreams could become reality. But then there would be no more dreams and they are valuable as well.
