    Quite an earful, here!

PS: Glad to have connected, good sire. Thank you for stopping by my blog. I notice we might share a common language, even though we express it through different mediums. Cheers!

You must consider putting out a cartoon with those two interesting characters. I’m sure your picture will speak louder than my 500 words! 🙂

I have influence here as I am half Roman and half Sicilian and I have instructed the crew to keep your ears safely attached. Nose too.

I did too and got D’s. I could never quick think the verb declensions. But reading Roman literature in English and knowing my Latin and Greek roots have been a keystone of my education. Two of my favorite history eras to study are the cusp of what becomes post Roman Britain and Early Christian Rome.

The basket of ears is just wrong (but strangely funny…perhaps I will look into seeking help for that one day.)

It is just a joke in words from William Shakespeare play Julius Caesar where Marc Antony addresses the crowd upon Caesar’s murder telling them to listen to his speech. .
