I use it when I try to participate in theology discussion blog with scholars and clergy. This is quite a coincidence because I was looking for this and could not find it. Thanks.
You forgot “arguably”.
I have a problem with it, because I cannot imagine how to pronounce that.
.
By the way, I dreamt that today’s drawing would be “The squeeky wheel gets the ……” and, still dreaming, I felt obliged to find the missing word which kept appearing as “deal”. Even in my dream I knew that wasn’t right.
As soon as I woke up I knew it is “grease”, but I often dream having to look for something all over
Thank You.., Poe I know.. Hawthorne, I should look into…apparently..
Sorry I haven’t posted a lot on your site lately, and though, I’m sure it is due to my browser situation, my computer locks up over here… I love your daily comic strips brother…
I know people who won’t beleive it from the horse’s mouth, but will believe any old rubbish in a newspaper.
And also those who decry everything in black and white as a conspiracy of lies, preferring any unsourced fifth-hand gossip.
But my favourite is my brother who used to preface any dubious assertion with the phrase “Research has shown…”
Some are ingenious at convincing themselves of what ever they want despite all evidence to the contrary. People that do this progress to the point that it really happened and they are not lying. Never fooled myself. I knew I’d be an alcoholic for the next 50 years from that first shot at 3 years old. Fortunately sober 10 years Mar 3, and that is a fact.
Of course I was not mentally developed at that age to verbalize it in adult terms or even in concepts understandable to me at that age, but I knew this would be on my “to do” list. All the little ones were allowed 1/2 glass of wine. We all made sure we got much more than that. A lot more. And no opportunity was missed. So I did not know the end results as I was too young but I knew “this would be the start of something big” in my own little devious way.
Reliable sources have reported that the master has spoken; not in pictures but in words once again. It is also widely believed that this is likely to cause anxiety amongst self-styled exponents of satirical prose leading to a possible shakeout.
Sounds like a guide to recognizing when a political, governmental, banker or other self-serving organization/individual are talking….Or, maybe I’m wrong………:-)
