No real trees in this part of the world… reusing the artificial tree for the past 3 years. New baubles get added to the collection every year!

And I have nicked it for my own blog now – to appear on Christmas Day as part of a heartfelt appeal. I hope you’ll give generously. Though, thinking about it, I suppose you already have.

I don’t know how to do it. GIMP is a free download that allows sizing under “images” Maybe you can copy this pic, paste as doc, print and work with it from there. PICASA is another free download. You are welcome to use things, just credit the blog. Regards for holidays.

I could not do it, had to give up after making 21 versions via photo editor, because my sidebar allows only 199 px in width and that changes the lines of your drawing into scribbels.
So I tried all sorts of things like cutting away from the margins turning it into its negative (and that looked good! black everything and white trees) and making screen shots and even allowing a wee little distorsion, and I did get its width down to 199 —– but then the whole thing looked crammed.
    😦

This is so good, there should be a sixth star for it. I would like to borrow it and put it in the sidebars of both of my blogs with links to your blog, and since there is little time left , I cannot wait for your permission.
My Spanish is not too good, but I know of a proverb: If you see your neighbour’s beard getting shorn off, start putting shaving cream on yours. (and now I wonder whether this is arguably mainstream English)

Funny, I feel guilty because I own an artificial tree! All that plastic isn’t very environmentally friendly (and forget about throwing it in the ol’ compost bin afterwards). But at least I can sleep easily tonight knowing I saved one poor tree’s life!

Do you mean they’re not sitting there hoping to be the one who gets chosen?! I always imagined they were thinking “Pick me! Pick me! Pick me!”
    Bummer.

Maybe. Last 20 days of life decorated in a living room better than going up in a forest fire.

No guilt here — my tree is artificial. It’s a good feeling, knowing I’m helping in my small way to spare the poor trees this anxiety!

Amazing to see how many people now perceive a tree as more than an object…..As part of the living community….Perhaps there is hope for us….yet…

Well, I feel guilty. I’ve always had a live tree. Although I didn’t do the tree thing this year. Mine was already chopped and ready to be loaded. But still, huh…So selfish of me wanting that pine scent…

They must be male trees since they’re not dreaming of the glitter and glamour that becomes Christmas trees…the female trees would be looking at the fashion side of the deal!
