Ah, your pious wishes. And how will they find jobs? And what will the arms industry do for further orders just now, when nothing else is being developed anymore?
Fortunately, congress has just passed a jobs bill wherein employers will get a special tax credit for hiring returning soldiers. Also since most are reserves, their job must be kept open for them upon return if it is with any federal, state, local government and large companies in private sector. Still a substantial will face the problem you suggest and families have found it difficult to pay bills at home due to reduced pay.

I’m praying for their safety. Christmas will be different for our family without my cousin here, and especially hard for his parents.
On the positive side, it looks like the soldiers in the pictures are making the best of their situation.
