I shall tell the local bird citizens about this, I’m sure they will agree!

In my household it was always a difficult choice between lasagna or turkey.

If we really thought about what we eat, we wouldn’t eat at all!

We sure would not eat sausage and hot dogs if we knew the ingredients.

Justice and fairness is what it’s all about. Of course we don’t have very much in the country right now.

Sorry for the omission Duck. I am sure Daffy and Donald would make fine presidents and those two crows would lead us on quite a roller coaster ride as well.

Ha ha! Forget “Save the Whales!” Save the turkeys!
If turkeys are citizens, then ducks should be, too.

It is a good thing the men at the First Continental Congress, et.al., did not take this “not really an issue for me” attitude. Mr. Posky, there comes a time when a man has to put himself on the line and stand for truth and freedom. It may not be at Lexington or Concord for us in our age, but we must be ready to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution. This recognition of the men and women of the turkey persuasion as citizens deserving equal and protected standing in our society has been too long in the waiting. If we deny or ignore the constitution to turkeys, no bird is safe. And who will be next? Giraffes? Frogs? Goats? United we stand…..

Hey now… don’t be making me feel bad about my Thanksgiving menu! I’m cooking this year and having the family over. They won’t be happy with me if I decide to go with something like tofu instead of turkey!

I hear the piggies are next to run with this. Probably not a good idea to cross the Feds. I’m going with lasagna and playing it safe.

I’ve gone veggie thanksgiving and “standard.” Honestly, both years were pretty much the same.

I have a long record of standing up for the little guy and ensuring that the blessings of liberty and opportunity are available to all. The Constitution must represent our secular spirit.
