I can’t remember whether I told you when I was last here an hour ago about this blogging discovery I made today.
As you can see, my blog is not of the social circle kind. All my visits come directly from Google. I thought I understood the system fairly well, but discovered only today that the searches focus on images, not on text! I work very much on my texts and I put in the images only as a decoration, but I see now that I had better check what title I give those images: the titles have to be descriptive or even defining.
In that regard, you are very well placed because you have lots of images that refer to historical things or people, but I don’t think you labeled your images accordingly.
Always appreciate tips and advice. This post has 3 tags. Seems they address topic and image. Any ideas how could be done differently as you suggest. Or use another post as examples. Or are you suggesting they should be given different titles? My visits come from subscribers, from being on the blog role of other bloggers or from people visiting me because of interest in my comments on another blog which directs them to my blog. I would guess that less than 1% of my visits come from a google search. Thank you.
Actually that’s very relevant. The Puritans back in ye olde England were instrumental in the dissolution of the Rump Parliament and with leadership from Cromwell set up a government run largely by the Presbyterian branch of Puritans while the Congregational Puritans migrated to Massachusetts in the decades after the Pilgrims came.
Ahhhhh, Thanksgiving…..’A birds eye view’….Wait a minute…Birdseye? Clarence Birdeye? Frozen vegetables… On Thanksgiving? Now look what you started!!! Thanks a lot Carl!!

This is twisted, but I love it! It’s always creepy to have food that stares back at you, though.
