For morrow’s lunch, made an elegant
Dagwood Bumstead sandwich last night.
I wouldn’t trade it for an empress’s
full length sable.
Now I’m here at work this morning
only to find:
I left the gal dern thing
on the blasted kitchen table.

Lovely sarnie.
My gal dern is flippity dip – from my Mum – though she denies ever having said it.

I am quite a sandwich fan, so that would be quite terrible. Now I want a sandwich, but all I have is bread and mayo. That would make a bad sandwich.

Fortunately, I’m sure the Miami climate won’t wreak havoc with your sandwich and it’ll be just as fresh and tasty when you arrive home as it would have been at lunchtime! Am I right or am I right?

Sometimes the heat sours the mayonnaise and the lunch meat gets a little slimmy too. Peanut butter/jelly is most immune to temp. Can heat up a can of soup in the sun and fry and egg on the hood off your car or steaming asphalt surface. But from now to April climate delightful. June-Sept worse than Bataan Death March.

That type of coincidence has happened several times with bloggers I follow and who follow me. Strange.

Not to fear that you left it. You can get another at Publix tomorrow morning.
Gotta get there early to get a good parking space and the hot fresh bread to stick in the freezer.

I make pizza for a living – I will make you the best – no leftover junk.
Do you have a favorite or should I just do what my regulars like and make what I think suits you best?
*sweet smile*

1. spinach and feta. 2. mushroom and black olive. 3. yellow squash and zucchini and sliced tomato. 4. Salmon(lox) and cream cheese. Never pepperoni – I had one triple by-pass – never again. The stuff’s a killer.

Do they laugh when you bring your lunch? If you eat out or take delivery for lunch you don’t get a Baby Ruth candy bar.

You’re right. Actually I did give that a fleeting thought when I composed the post. Seems like our stuff is relevant to only a specific age group – Gray Panthers. Oh, well. I still LIKE IKE.

Gal dern is the Barney Fife GD it alternative. I’ve taken the no oathing pledge on my blog. No obscene, disparaging, unkind, hurtful, or profane. Kind of how I’ve lived my whole life, wouldn’t you agree? Upon my word. Land a Goshen. Well I’ll be John Brown. They’ll be shoes up in hebben…
