“unfortunately were posted when I had a very small audience. ”

And so they should be re-published. What is there against re-publication? That maybe one of your many followers remember reading it? Posssible, but so what? If you do not re-publish, your blog will look more and more like a paper basket that grows longer and longer at the bottom.
I am sorry that the lol cats owner did not select and re-publish his best cats.

I have again looked at some of your older posts and see that you began by writing, not drawing!
You were really lucky to find your way, though drawing takes more mind than writing.
It would also take considerably more time and obligatory resting…… or what? Do you walk for inspiration?
It would be fatal to read the newspaper for inspiration.

I think some of my best things were with writing and unfortunately were posted when I had a very small audience. Fiction, humor, political commentary. Cartoons are popular because you can project an idea in 10 seconds rather than in a 10 minute read. I skip anything more than 4 paragraphs from the bloggers I follow. That is because I average commenting on blogs and responding to comments on my blog at 100-200 a day ! I ran a pretty graphic series of anti war posts re Iraq and Afghanistan in March but my loyal followers suggested they did not belong on a humor blog and they were right. I do not know from whence my ideas come. They just pop into my mind and I find myself laughing at them as though they were authored by someone else rather than myself. With my education I make a lot of historical and literary references and those areas are ripe for harvesting. I appreciate your taking interest in my work.

Ahh, as BA Theology and MA Theology would love to have such a discussion. But people come here(137 subscribers) for funny stuff so I can’t go there. It’s about two fish making a funny statement. Ms. Norton, thanks for visit and I hope my cartoons may bring a chuckle to your days. Regards.

Love it! We Jews just stand close to the water’s edge and symbolically toss something in the water to represent out sins. Because, oy, so much dipping. So messy. And what about my hair?

    No, we just toss. 😉

The hair. Wrapped in bunches of towels. Hair didn’t get wet, the dipping was so quick. But yeah, I like the water toss too. 🙂
