Good one, Carl…I’d like to winter in Venice!
Being of Norwegian descent myself, my heart cries out for Norway since that madman unleashed his evil. What horror to witness, to incorporate into their society…
I am sad about it too. I don’t think 160,000 troops in Afghanistan keeps the world any safer. They can plan an attack anywhere and then there is the matter like this where it takes one disturbed person to create such a tragedy.
Fifty or sixty years ago we used to get at least 30 good cold days a year and now lucky to get 10. Maxi, I am just suffering in the June – September heat.
WOW I’m so grateful and thankful for being the 3000 person to go on your blog. Your promise and prize of a free all inclusive trip for my wife and myself to go to Russia came. We leave tomorrow afternoon for 17 days. You’re a man of your word.
I can’t wait to try to be # 5000!!!
Is there anything I can bring you back from Russia for being sooo generous??

Funny you should ask. He used to have a blade sharpening business on the side.

Venice , Florida has clean water(not sewage) and is less likely to fall into the sea but this is the Italy one.

These must be descendants of the Trojans, who not only looked a gift horse in the mouth, but accepted it without question.

Prospect of making a fast buck makes a lot of people take risks. The Venetians can always poison the pizza, however.

Coupla Faberges will do quite nicely. Perhaps a petticoat belonging to Catherine the Great too.
