To be honest I surprise myself and don’t know from where or how the ideas pop up. As an only child and a repressed child I had to be creative and imaginative to create an inner world to survive. Perhaps there are roots in that. I also laugh at my own jokes because it is as though some one else created them. And they are funny as well.
I hear he had a glass of Cold Duck with the meal and finished off with coffee and a shot of Wild Turkey. Ahem. Why do I know about all that? So glad you took a moment to visit my blog.

No wonder crows are afraid of scarecrows.
Scarecrows have always scared me a little, too. At least, there aren’t scareducks.

I will advise Mr Scarecrow to avail himself of that alternative. I hope he is not too “chicken ” to try new things.

Crows are so super smartical. I would love them…except they freak me out a smidge.

Reminds me of an MR James story I once read. Only yours is friendly (unless you’re a crow)

Yes, unless you are a crow. If the crows would eat the bugs instead of the corn the scarecrow would amicably change his diet.

The dessert special must be four and twenty blackbirds baked in a pie.

At last. A man familiar with the great classics of western literature who can fully appreciate the complexity and nuances of my work.
