Great imagery.
I hadn’t realised they were LSD art. I had a chat to the inventor/discoverer of LSD a few years ago, Albert Hoffman who lived near Basel in Switzerland. Can’t say I came away enlightened from our exchange, though he was very polite.
You met and talked with Hoffman?! Very impressive. He and Timothy Leary were the gurus of the ago. He himself may not have been enlightening but he would have been an excellent guide on the trip to avoid entering dangerous paths and enhance the experience. I don’t recommend fooling with this drug. Last time I did it was 36 years ago. It can be entertaining and a religious metaphysical experience . I liked the visuals but if a person is depressed or grief stricken it can be very suicidal . I can say I was there but the real world is here and now and that’s where the Creator meant us to be. I believe altered states separate us from a relationship with the Creator. This is why I will be clean and sober 9 years on March 2. I still love the artwork and there are many different forms. Usually painting while high produces images of the quality of spilled paint so this stuff is post experience which stays with one for different lengths of time. The intricate work is what I enjoy most. Thanks for visiting. Three dimensions are just fine.
Yes, perhaps one of those things you do just once.
As for Hoffman, to be honest he just wanted to be rid of me. He was generally unwilling to discuss his “problem child”, how he referred to LSD. I happened to be in his neighbourhood investigating Basel Stadt’s harm reduction strategies with regard to heroin addiction.
Both pictures are LSD art. I have been re-researching all day to find where I got them so I can credit properly. There are many fantastic things in that genre of art work.
I just posted this seconds ago. I see I must go back and try to find where I got these two pictures to be sure to credit them. It is not my art work.. I am, however, fairly good at carving chess pieces out of walnut and cherry . 4 in. high primitive Viking/Celtic style. Thanks for visiting. Perhaps you may get a chuckle out of some of my simple, silly cartoons.

Looks pretty good for someone being high. I never realized that there was such a thing as LSD ART. Or rather I never really thought about it.

The second image gives new meaning to the expression: blood shooting out of my eyes.
Happy days, my friend 🙂
